Internet Privacy Practices
Our Web Site
JBT respects the privacy of all the visitors to our Web site. Whether you are a JBT customer or not, we protect the information you provide to us. We do not collect personally identifiable information from visitors to our Web site. We only collect non-identifying information such as (1) date and time the site was accessed and (2) what pages were visited.
E-mail Address and Products and Services Inquiries
Web site visitors are invited to submit requests for information by email. Because of the insecure nature of email, personal information should not be sent by this method. Your email address is stored and used as appropriate by employees of this Bank to complete the request submitted through our Web site. This information is neither disseminated outside the bank nor sold to other organizations.
IP Addresses
When you visit us via our Web site at jbt.bank, you pass through safeguards that are in place to maintain the security of our systems. As you pass through these security features, we identify the Internet Protocol (IP) address associated with the access device you are using, such as your personal computer or handheld device. The IP address does not personally identify you, but it allows us to identify the access device you are using. This information would be used only if we needed to track a connection to its point of origin for security.
JBT Digital Banking
JBT requires customers to use specific passwords and Two Factor Authentication for access to confidential and private information. We use “cookies” to help authenticate our customers’ identities and to help facilitate the exchange of information between our systems and our customers’ systems. We do not use cookies to get information from your hard drive, mobile device, or to get your e-mail address, precise location, or personal identifying information. Geo-location may be used only when you request locating a JBT ATM or Branch while using the JBT Digital Banking App or for fraud prevention.
When using JBT Digital Banking, we identify the IP address associated with the access device(s) you are using, such as your personal computer or handheld devices. The IP address does not personally identify you or your precise location, but it allows us to identify the access device(s) you are using with your digital banking account. Device information identified may include browser type, version, operating system, and App version. Information collected is used to help detect and prevent fraud and other risks.
This information is neither disseminated outside the bank nor sold to other organizations.

Data associated with your digital banking user account will be deleted upon request in a reasonable amount of time. Certain data may be retained for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance.
Children’s Privacy
We respect the privacy of your children, and we comply with the practices established under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly solicit information from children under the age of thirteen through our Web site. We do not collect, use or disclose personal information on our Web site.

We train and require our employees to protect the privacy of information about our customers regardless of the medium used to fulfill customer financial needs. And to protect the privacy of our customers, we use appropriate security standards and procedures to control access to customer information.
