Debit Card

JBT Cardholders can activate their debit card and add a PIN by calling: 1-888-850-5282.  Cardholders can also change their PIN by calling 1-800-290-7893.

To place a travel alert on your debit card, go to the card management section within your mobile app, call our Client Resource Center at 717-274-5180, Option 1 or send JBT a secure message by logging into your digital banking and sending a secure online message.

If you received a fraud notification for your debit card, please contact our fraud monitoring service at 1-800-237-8990.

There are two ways to report a fraudulent transaction on your JBT Visa Debit Card.  1) Contact the JBT Card Dispute Team, Monday through Friday 9:00am to 8:00pm Eastern time at 1-855-903-8401. 2) Enter your dispute information online here. No need to fill out any paperwork or sign any forms.  We take care of it all for you.  Once you file your dispute, the Card Dispute Team will keep you up-to-date during the dispute investigation process.  If you have any questions, please contact us at 717-274-5180, Option 1 or email us at eservice@jbt.bank.

JBT does not verify CVV codes for clients.  Your CVV code is the 3-digit code found on the back of your JBT debit card and you may be asked for when making purchases.

Yes, JBT can activate digital wallet for Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung.  Please call into your local JBT Branch or JBT Client Resource Center at 717-274-5180, Option 1.

Deposits

Access the "Open New Personal Account" link on the JBT home page or within your digital banking to open your new account online. You can call into our Client Resource Center at 717-274-5180, Option 1 to speak to a CRC Specialist. You may also schedule an appointment at a JBT Branch.

TIN is an abbreviation for Tax Identification Number. This is typically your Social Security Number or might be an Employer Identification Number if the account is under a business name.

You can order checks through our website, www.jbt.bank. Click on resources on the top right, order checks, and enter the appropriate information from your previous reorder slip.  Or click here and be automatically directed to the check reorder screen.

To view your account balance, you need to log in to digital banking using your sign on credentials. To enroll in digital banking, click on the "enroll – digital banking" button in the upper right-hand corner of our home page.

We include a standard direct deposit form in our JBT Welcome Kit. You can stop by any of our local branches and they will be able to provide you a copy for your use, however, most employers have their own form that they use for direct deposit enrollment.

JBT accounts and Digital Banking become dormant when there is no activity for an extended period of time. Accounts become dormant after 365 days of no client activity. Digital Banking becomes inactive after 4 months of no client activity and will be deleted after 7 months of no client activity.  If you profile has been deleted, you can re-enroll by clicking on Enroll – Digital Banking at the top of our home page.

JBT does not have a SWIFT code for wire transfers. You can provide the JBT routing number of 031312055 and your account number. To initiate a wire transfer, please contact your JBT Branch or the Client Resource Center.

Digital Banking

Click on "Enroll - Digital Banking on the home page of jbt.bank.  You will be asked for specific information during the enrolment process.  All information entered must match JBT bank records.

If you enrolled in Digital Banking, you selected your username/password or it may have been assigned to you. You can select "Forgot" then select "Try another way" to retrieve your Username. To change your Username, access the settings/Security section once logged in. You can enroll by clicking "Enroll".

In your JBT Digital Banking, click on the eDocuments tab on the Dashboard. Select the accounts and document types to be delivered electronically. Enrollment for checking, savings, and loan account statements are available. Tax documents are also available for electronic delivery. Once you enroll a document for electronic delivery, you will no longer receive a mailed paper copy.

Once you are enrolled with Digital Banking, you can download the JBT digital app on your mobile device and be able to login through the app with the same credentials.

Mobile Deposit is available in the mobile banking app. Select "Deposit Checks" on the Dashboard or menut to enroll for the first time or make a deposit. 

Zelle is a fast, safe, easy way to send money between banks through the JBT Mobile App. Zelle is accessed from your JBT Digital Banking by clicking on the "Send Money with Zelle" menu option.  Transferring money using Zelle should only be used between close friends and family members.

You can add an external transfer account through your JBT digital banking.  To add an external account to transfer between or to make a JBT loan payment, click on Transfers / External account and then click on +Add external account.

You can update your address and contact information in your JBT digital banking by going to the settings option, you can click on your name at the top and hit edit. JBT can also mail a change of address form to you to sign and mail back or you can stop by your local branch to sign a form in person.

Loans

  1. Open a JBT account and have the funds transferred /automatically transferred to pay your JBT loan
  2. Digital Banking external transfer (External Bank to Bank transfer) you can establish an external transfer to pay your JBT loan
  3. Online Bill Pay – debit account with another Financial Institution through your (Foreign Bank) online Bill payment.
  4. ACH Transfer – choose to have your loan payment automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account at another Financial Institution (Signed Form with JBT)
  5. Mail your payment (check) to: Jonestown Bank & Trust Co., PO Box 717, Jonestown, PA 17038-0717.
  6. Online ACH Payment (FEES APPLY). Go to the website Home page and select "Click here to pay your JBT Loan". You can select the Quick Pay option for a one-time payment or enroll and setup recurring automatic payments.

To apply, please make an appointment at your local JBT Branch at jbt.bank. To apply online, visit the Personal Banking Tab and by selecting the type of loan. Select the Green Apply Online Now button to begin. If you have any questions, contact our Client Resource Center at 717-274-5180, Option 1.

When logged into digital banking, to view your due dates for your loans, click on the "Accounts" tab, then click on the specific loan. You will see your payment due date under "Payment information".

While logged into digital banking click on the "Accounts" tab, then click on the appropriate account. You will see under details the estimate payoff balance. If your loan is secured by real estate please contact our Client Resource Center at (717) 274-5180, Option 1.

You can inquire and apply for a JBT credit card directly on the JBT website by clicking on Personal Banking / Credit Card.

Loans - Escrow

If your mortgage is escrowed through JBT, the following items might be paid by JBT through your escrow account:
  • County taxes
  • Municipal taxes
  • School taxes
  • Homeowners Insurance
  • Flood Insurance
  • PMI Insurance

 The following items are not paid from your JBT escrow account:
  • Per Capita
  • Occupational taxes

Yes, you can make an escrow account deposit to keep your monthly payment the same, as long as you make the deposit prior to the payment increase. Please reach out to JBT by calling 717-274-5180, Option 1 and we can inform you of the deposit amount needed to keep your monthly payment from increasing.

No, JBT will be verifying your real estate taxes electronically via Lereta, LLC.   Please do not mail your real estate tax bill/notice to JBT unless JBT has requested them from you.

*Certain tax collectors will only send you a copy of your tax bill/notice.  In this case, the original copy of your tax bill/notice has been directed to Lereta, LLC.*

**Please continue to mail JBT your real estate homeowners insurance bill/notice to be paid out of your JBT escrow account**

Security/Fraud

You can temporarily lock your JBT debit card by accessing the card management section with your JBT digital banking.  To close your JBT card, please contact our Client Resource Center at 717-274-5180, Option 1.

To place a stop payment on your JBT check(s), visit your specific account with your JBT digital banking and select “Stop payments”.  You can place a Stop payment on your check(s) within your digital banking or by calling our Client Resource Center at 717-274-5180, Option 1.

To close your *JBT card, please contact our Client Resource Center at 717-274-5180, Option 1.

Transferring money using Zelle should only be used between close friends and family members.
Neither JBT nor Zelle offers a protection plan and has no liability for authorized payments made through the service.  It is not to be used for the purchase of goods or services.

Taxes

If you are eligible to receive a tax document, JBT tax documents will be mailed or will be available within your JBT Digital Banking eDocuments by January 31st.

If you have enrolled to receive your JBT tax documents within eDocuments inside your JBT Digital Banking, you can access these by clicking on eDocuments with your JBT Digital Banking Dashboard.  If you have not enrolled to receive your tax documents electronically, the appropriate tax document will be mailed to you.
