Opening A Business Account
When you’re ready to open a JBT business account, our goal is to make your experience as positive as possible. That’s why we encourage you to schedule an appointment so we are prepared to make your business account opening stress-free, organized, and efficient.
To assist in opening your new account, JBT may request the following:
Sole Proprietor/DBA
- SSN of Owner/TIN of Sole Proprietorship
- Fictitious Name Filing (if applicable)
Partnership
- TIN of Partnership
- Partnership Agreement
Limited Liability Company (LLC)
- TIN of LLC/SSN of Sole Member
- Operating Agreement
Corporation
- TIN of Corporation
- Acceptable Form of Primary Business Identification
- Bylaws OR Resolution of Governing Rules
- Meeting Minutes (if applicable)
Organization or Association
- TIN of Organization
- Acceptable Form of Primary Business Identification

Valid government ID of partners, members, officers, and signers may also be requested.
The following information is needed for Beneficial Owners. Beneficial Owners are individuals who directly or indirectly own 25% or more of the legal entity and/or the individual who has significant responsibility for managing the legal entity:
- Name
- Physical Address
- Social Security Number
- Valid Government Issued ID
