Description
The Central Documentation Specialist II is responsible for performing a variety of complex clerical and operational duties to support the efforts of the Central Documentation/Central Underwriting (CDCU) team.  The Central Documentation Specialist II handles routine processing, underwriting, and documentation of consumer loans, consumer real estate loans, and commercial loans; including collection and verification of the accuracy of the information being provided.  This individual works with lending personnel to acquire necessary documentation to ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies.

  • Proficient math skills
  • Thorough working knowledge with loan documentation requirements and government regulations
  • Ability to interpret policies/procedures and loan documents
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of keyboard proficiency
  • Ability to successfully handle confidential materials
  • Work well independently, multitask, and successfully work in a fast-paced environment
  • A thorough understanding of the requirements and features of loan programs offered by the bank (rules and regulations, policies, underwriting, pricing practices)
  • Expertise in consumer mortgage and commercial lending
