The Branch Team Leader is responsible for the supervision of the Community Banker 1s, 2s and Community Associates, including but not limited to the training, mentoring, and scheduling. This individual will train and mentor the branch staff to ensure delivery of JBT’s SMILE Standards. They will serve as the branch’s primary consumer lender, including taking applications, underwriting, approving and settling retail lending requests and may also have mortgage lending responsibilities. The Branch Team Leader must have knowledge of laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures individually. Additionally, the BTL will ensure all members of the branch team are educated on, and comply with these same guidelines. The BTL facilitates communication and coordinates the staff in conjunction with the manager/assistant manager to maintain an exemplary level of customer service in the branch.
